I don't own this card, but a quick search on the net, I found that there is no native support (although I o admit the posts were a little old).
here is a simple post on making it work. the
niswrapper page also has a little info about your card.
The no firmware part of lsusb sounds interesting : either you need to install a firmware (should be included in windows driver package - copy to /lib/firmware/) or you have a revision where no firmware is needed (less likely)...

PS : see if there is any mention of the card in dmesg (using the ath9k driver) - just type dmesg into a terminal.
