webserver updation throuh windows box


hi all
I am running web server in my linux box. periodically i want update my webpages. i dont want to alter the web page directly in my linux box. i want alter my web page throug any remote computer running under windows machine

Why not use FTP for this? Edit your webpages in windows and then upload those files to your webserver machine throguh say, filezilla.

yes ofcourse but i dont know how to change the ftp path for my wesite directory and i want to know fireewall setting
