You need to get a router and forward port 80 to the machine that hosts the website.

The exact procedure for port forwarding depends on your router. Read the routers docs and if you don't understand how to forward the port, post back with exact details about your router.

You will never be able to access a 192.168.x.x ip directly from the internet. It is reserved for private networks.

To access your webserver from outside your private network, you need to connect to your router public ip and configure your router to forward port 80 to your local machine.

Check out dyndns.com, it'll help you attain your goals

http://www.dyndns.com/services/dns/dyndns/

The free service will let you pick one of their domains or for roughly 20/year you can forward to a pre-owned domain.

Post the make / model of your router. There should be instructions in the manual on how to foward a port to a specific IP address. Typically routers like DLINK use a web browser to modify their configuration.

If you don't understand me, then maybe search on the web for "port forwarding" and you may get more helpful info. If you have setup a Linux box as a router, I am sure that there are docs out there that can help you.

bondoq, please don't start multiple threads about the same issue, if you make a mistake in the first post you can edit it with the edit button in the lower right corner of the post.

I've merged your 2 threads.

Can you confirm what your network topology is - either of these or something else?
Code:
      [WAN/ISP]
          |
[Router] (what OS does this run or is it a hardware device?)
          |
    [Hub or Switch]
      / \
   [PC] [Webserver]

OR

      [WAN/ISP]
          |
[Webserver and Router]
          |
    [Local Network]
