I configured proxy in my company . Setup is like we have two linux proxy servers one at remote location i.e parent server and second is at my site which i make as a sibling or can say child proxy server .
Now i can access the site but when i go for any web mail site like gmail, yahoo.mail etc it cannot open or if open first page than not able to loing in that mail site .
I'm not really sure where your problem might be, but usually when performing a login, it is via SSL (https). Is your proxy/firewall setup to handle port 443 traffic?
Thank for reply friend i did't get any error but suppose it is related to firewall port 443 than how to resolved it pl. show me the way i am new in linux can u guide me?
Well, if its a firewall problem, then take a look at your firewall configurations. Verify that you are allowing port 443 traffic to pass, as you had to have done for port 80 (http) traffic. There may be multiple firewalls involved in your configuration, so you will need to check each for a proper configuration.
If you are having difficulty with the configuration, post the firewall configuration(s) here and we can take a look at the necessary changes.
