Post Web Folder(WebDAV I guess)

I want to setup something that users would use simply without any thinking click and done.
I need to create something like web drive...
Here's actually plan of how I need everything to setup...
htp://img212.imageshack.us/my.php?image=webdrive12td.jpg
I thought that WebDAV would be perfect tool for this...but what server?
I have tried apache + mod_dav but it didn't do the work....nothing works...
So is there any other good(fast) WebDAV server???
Or can I possibly use something like samba over internet???
What should I do? I need this server pretty quick...(till the sun is down)
Please help me!

./SerJ.
