I like Netscape 6.1+, since Mozilla is based on netscape 4.7 I just don't use it, since everything that mozilla has Netscape also has.
however, don't forget that it doesn't matter which browser you use, there will be pages you just cannot view thanks to the Microsoft proprietary code!,

What utter rubbish!
Mozilla has nothing to do with NS 4.7 !!!!
In fact, NetScape 6.x and 7.x are based on Mozilla!
I find Mozilla to be incredible slow compared to Galeon, so if you were going to either one of the two then choose Galeon. Mind you, you need Mozilla to use Galeon, so why not install both!

Buddy, dunno where you got your info but you are not correct. Mozilla is based off Netscape, hence why Mozilla when it first came out looked just like Netscape...and if you haven't also noticed Mozilla is way newer than Netscape, so you need to recheck your sources, have a nice day,

I don't know where *you* got you infos but here is where i found mine:
Netscape 6.0 and above are based off of the Mozilla source.
Maybe you are mistaken because Mozilla ships with the old Netscape 4.x skin, it's the first thing i change when i install Mozilla. Appart from that, it doesn't have anything in common with Netscape 4.x. First there was Netscape 4.x, than Netscape decided to release the source code for it. The Mozilla project was created and they began working on a new browser. Netscape decided at a certain point that the Mozilla source code was good enough and release it under the name of Netscape 6.
To resume,
- Netscape 4.x: old, let's forget about this piece of ...
- Mozilla: multi-platform browser, pretty much plain
- Netscape 6 (or 7.x): basically Mozilla + load of questionable programs (AOL icons, etc...).
- Galeon: a gtk-based browser which use the gecko engine (from Mozilla). Faster than Mozilla. For Linux only.
- K-Meleon: a windows-based browser which use the gecko engine. Windows only.
