W2K ICS Sharing to Linux

Well I know this is possible but for some reason I can't get my SUSE 8.2 to use the internet through ICS. It used to work when I tried linux a year ago. Basicilly if I have the network on Linux set to DHCP I can't ping the host W2K computer which is set to 192.168.0.1, it says 'network unreachable' and the internet doesn't work. But if I set the IP on Linux as 192.168.0.2 then I can ping the W2K computer. But internet still doesn't work. I'm getting the impression that the DHCP isn't setting itself up properly, or isn't communicating with ICS on W2K, or something. It's a pain because I switched the ADSL Modem to another computer so I could access it through linux using ICS.

Any ideas?
Thanks

ok d00d if you have the win2k boxas the modem machine and it has ics enabled then it will have the address of 192.168.0.1 so here is what i surrgest.
You can specify which Windows Network Neighborhood Workgroup your Linux machine is seen in and the description of the machine by editing the following lines in smb.conf:
workgroup = WORKGROUPNAME
server string = MACHINE DESCRIPTION
ok then say like you will need to get which workgroup you 2k box is on i have had no trouble with getting the internet working usin either linux or win2k as the gateway and ip dishing machine currently i use CC as my gateway but i have used a demo version of 2k server for over 12 months and either of these os have ease of use
