VSFTP hosting problem

Hey, I'm using RH9
and I've just turned on VSFTP service.
Now I can connect to my Linux box with ftp://127.0.0.1
But it looks like it doesn't work if I use my assigned ip from the router which is
ftp://192.168.1.2
Also it doesn't work with my IP address from my DSL company.

The error msg I get is "No route to host"

Well, I use a BEFSR41 ver.3 Linksys Router.
I've setup the Port Range Forwarding to an appropriate port which I believe is 21 to my Linux box which is 192.168.1.2

But I still get this "No route to host" msg and can't connect to my Linux box.
I really want to connect through the internet but it only seems to connect as ftp://127.0.0.1

Any suggestions?
