Vpn Timing Issue?
I believe the following is a timing problem, and it would help me immensely to get some debugging pointers.
I use Kubuntu 8..04 KVpnc for vpn connections. If I test out my VPN connection sitting inside our firewall, I can connect. If I am outside our firewall, I get a modem hang up almost instantly upon connecting. Outside our firewall, my XP box connects just fine. I am going to look at logs in our firewall to see differences between a successful and an unsuccessful connect. What other logs should I be looking at? _ |
VPN logs
Hi there.
Not sure if I'm 100% right but I think you might see logs under /var/log/secure or you might even see what is going on when you connect if you look at /var/log/messages Like i said, not sure if it's right but this is where I look for the logs in Fedora and Centos. Regards, Odinn Burkni |
