vpn driver for slackware

I would like to use vpn on my slackware OS. Does anyone know where i can locate it? Or do i need to download it from somewhere. I was informed that Linux comes with its own vpn driver. I am using Slackware but don't know where to look for? In addition does anyone know how to set up vpn in linux?
