Not sure what to say as I am a self taught disaster but this is what I know.....
Local box is a Kubuntu desktop which connects to a cable DSL via a router. Remote server is a windoze 2k3 with direct DSL connection (I am using gnome network manager on my local box to connect to the VPN), once I have created a pptp VPN to that I am using RDP(krdc client on local box)) to control an XP workstation on the servers LAN.
Is there something I can run in terminal to give more useful info?
