VNC Rocks!

For all of you who have not heard of VNC yet (Virtual Network Computing), head on over to

http://www.uk.research.att.com

and check it out!

This software lets you bring up a graphical display of say, a Windows box, from your Linux machine and visa versa. All you need to do is make sure your machines can ping each other, select one node to work as the server, and utilize the vncviewer program form the other machine to scope out the server.

If you have ever used LinNeighborhood with Samba, it is rather similar. VNC is super easy to install, fits on a floppy disk and the web page has documentation to get you going right away.

Have fun!
