I have a remote linux box in a dmz. My client machine is behind a firewall but all ports outbound are open.
I am looking for an alternative to VNC (hopefully a bit faster)
I know you can use X across the network but that would require my client box to be exposed since the X sessions are actually forwarded to my machine.
I was hopeing for something a bit more like terminal services, where the client machine is making requests from the remote system hence the firewall will allow the traffic and responses to go through since the client is making the request and not the server sending the requests.
Is there something available.
Both the client and the server are running Suse 8.2
