Question Vmware NIC Driver

Hi, I have a bootdisk that works in my machine when I reboot it. It loads the NIC driver and maps to my network. I am running VMWare on FC5 and tried booting with this disk but the NIC driver fails to load. Do I need a different driver under VMWare? The NIC works in other virtual machines but not with this disk. =( Any ideas? Thanks in advnace.

VMware emulates an AMD Pcnet32 driver for guest operating systems. If the driver bootdisk you are talking about is the driver for the Host operating system, then that driver isn't the one for your virtual machines.
