virtual LAN setting problem in vmware

hi all,
i intended to use "team" feature in vmware to set up a virtual LAN for traffic monitoring by using NIST. Basically, I planned to use redhat 9.0 as a gateway/router to monitor the traffic between hosts in two different LANs,therefore, redhat has two network cards assigned IP address in different LANs. Unfortunately, things seem not that simply. each host only can ping to network cards in redhat,but not host in other LAN.i guess it caused by omitted configuration issues in redhat. is there any particular setting should be done in redhat to meet my needs?

this will enable ip forwarding between 2 lans
