Haaa some hope after all

Thanxs a LOT .... Ill try to put things to work with PAM/WINBIND ...

I read something about it .. but I thought those were packages to use with security = server .... all seems clear now ... Will post here when everything works ...

I am curious as to whether you got your windows 2000 to work with your linux. I have Mandrake 9 running samba w/ winbind authenticating to a windows nt4 pdc, and am considering the upgrade to 2000. I am interested in how things are going for you.
