Using drakconnect to get to winXP shared internet

I have been blessed with the ability to install mandrake 9.2 on my lovely old laptop and now comes the more exciting part.

I have a computer running windowsXP with a ADSL connection to the internet. I have this connection shared with a number of computer onmy little house LAN but I'd like my laptop to access it. I've run drakconnect and it finds the ethernet card but nothing connects. I'm guessing I need to type numbers in somewhere, but I have no idea where, I'm very new to all this.
Please help
Cheers
Alex
