I don't know why, but now I can access the usb device, but when I try to "ifup"/"ipdown"
I receive the following error message :

linux:~ # ifup usb0
usb0
No configuration found for usb0

Hi,

Yesterday, I was able to connect to an embedded device using the usb0 usbnet.

today, I can't (I didn't reboot my computer).

I use suse 10.1 and in the network manager I can see the usb gadget with the static 192.168.100.1 ip address.

I can Ping the 192.168.100.1 address.
I can't ping the 192.168.100.2 device address.

The module usbnet-module is installed.

I can't do: ifconfig usb0 192.168.100.1

linux:/proc # ifconfig usb0 192.168.100.1
SIOCSIFADDR: No such device
usb0: unknown interface: No such device

I unplugged then replugged the device.

Do somebody know what I could try to have usbnet working ?

thank you
