Posting any related Syslog and 'dmesg' lines, especially Vendor Id and product strings, might help but as far as I can see technical specifications for the the MRT Communication LANSER-E1 it advertises only supporting mcrsft, what's more the mentioning of "application software" sounds as crippleware to me as "USB softmodem",
