Urgent---TSclient Problem -Error: recv:Connection Reset by Peer?

TSclient Problem -

Error: recv:Connection Reset by Peer?

Please find out the problem why it is not connecting to the server as there is no problem at the server end...

earlier i used to connect to the server through this tsclient

In windows xp i used to delete the MSLicensing key

now where this will be stored in Linux (temporary lincense).

So please give the information how to delete this license.

please do not mark threads as urgent. they are not urgnt for all the members of lq.org who kindly donate their time to help others.

connection reset by peer means that you recieved a TCP RST packet back from the server, which is the server telling you where to stick it. it's not going to be the clients fault.

what licensing key is this? linux will never treat a microsoft license file as anything interesting in the slightest... it'll be where you put it, if you put it anywhere.

I dont think so, i have read that some where it is stored the temporary client license.

In Windows XP professional i try to remove the key using REGEDIT

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\MSLICENSING

I TRY TO REMOVE THIS KEY

THEN EVERY THINGS WORKS FINE

Hello Friends

i got the solution it is the license is stored in the client system which we have to remove.

I have done today morning total r&d for 1 hour today because i want to solve as there is very urgent and iam

what i have done is

i tried removing the rdesktop rpm and tsclient rpm and after installing again but i found same values in the tsclient history so what i thought is i have to remove them as it should be look like fresh.

--------------------------

So i figured out that in the root folder there are two hidden folders

one is .rdesktop and another one is .tsclient

so removed those two folders.

and i got the success and now the servers are connecting.

licence.xxxxx

file

this is the file which is holding the value

----------------------------------------------------------

Thank you all for the support
