Unable to use rexec in Exceed

Hi,
I am trying to connect to my Redhat linux 9 server from my windows desktop using Exceed. I am not able to connect, it says "Unable to connect to host using the specified start method". I am able to connect using telnet session. I am even able to start xinitrc on my windows, if I login as root. I am facing problems starting xinitrc on my windows, if I login as a normal user. My rexec service in enabled in xinetd.d directory and is running. I have enabled the XDMCP by setting the "Enable = true" etc. I have tried lot of options, but in vain.

Please help.

Thanks in advance

Problem solved

HI,
I am able to solve the problem. The problem is because of firewall. I had to disable that for accepting rexec connections. Now it is working fine for KDE, but gnome is able to start, only when I start a session from root, if not, it crashes saying a fatal error.

thanks for the reply..
regards
