Unable to mount share due to file lock
I'm running a default full install of Slackware 10.1 with a pkg install of smb4k.
I setup my samba config file, and I start smb4k. I'm logged in as a normal user by the way. Every time I try and mount a share and I get this error: smbmnt must be installed suid root for direct user mounts (1000,1000) smbmnt failed: 1 Then if I try and go into the configuration under super user and click any of the options I get this error: Another user is currently editing one of the system files, that Smb4K wants to write to. Please try again later. Any ideas on how to resolve this? Thanks. |
