Unable to get HTTP working on IP Over 1394

Hi,

I am working on IP Over 1394. I am able to get PING working.
But I can't get the HTTP working on the same code.

Please suggest some modifications if any in the code. Or any other modifications with respect to the OS.

Thank you.

Please explain the way you're testing this.

Thanks.

I don't think that there may be any problem with the server. Because it is working fine with the ethernet. But when I replace the ethernet with the 1394, it is failing. Ofcourse the IP addresses(1394-IP Addresses) are assigned in the same subnet.

I run the browser by running a couple of applications which are browser specific. Then the the browser gets started and on the other system I have to run an application with which the webserver gets started.

Have you tried assigning the 1394 connection into a different subnet?

You may have a problem on you web server or your workstation becuase it has a default gw conflict. Also: whay reyou you suing 1394 for ethernet. I know that it works, but It's not standard and may not have the same support. I understand you're getting 400Mb transfer there as well. Also, what are you using for DNS, how are you using it, and WHAT ERROR DO YOU GET IN YOUR BROWSER?

that's what I really need to know. If you can ping you have connectivity so I need to know why the browser thinks it can't connect. Without this information Iwe'll be here all month!
