Hello chaos panic,

There is no graphical mode available in the system also i tried "curl" and "links" command to browse but those packages are not installed in the system, i cannot install those packages also using "apt-get" but failed to download.

There is no proxy available in our network. Able to ping google.com but unable to download software packages through internet using "wget".

Can you please assist me on this issue to get resolved.

Thanks

Please try
Quote:
traceroute www.google.com
to see where it's going. Your firewall may dropped the connection.

If not difficult, please paste the output of the commands you run.

Can you ping the hostname of the server from which you were trying to download something using wget?

Also, please show us output of command
Code:
iptables -S
.
