Unable to Connect to Internet using Linux Mint.

I have a DeskTop computer, and a LapTop Computer. I have them both set up as Dual Boot, meaning that I can Boot Windows or Linux while using them.

With my DeskTop computer I have Windows XP, and Linux Mint. Both work pretty well as it comes to using the Internet.

With my LapTop computer I have Windows Vista, and Linux Mint. As you can see, I am minty. Well, the problem is that with te LapTop I cannot access the Internet when I'm using Linux Mint.

Now, remember that my Internet Connection works well with my DeskTop when using Windows or Linux, and it only works with Windows Vista on my LapTop, but not with Linux.

I dont know what the problem could be, I am POSITIVE that it is not my Modem, or my Cable, or my service, for it works well with all my Other Operating Systems except for the Linux Mint that is in my LapTop.

Here are some Details about my Computer:

System Model:
ASUSTeK Computer Inc. G50VT 1.0

Yo, thanks for the reply... It was a bit confusing at first, but then I realized it was me doing the mis-reading.

Which parts did you find confusing? I'd be pleased to have your help in identifying parts of that page where things are unclear! It's my most celebrated post, you see.

No where, not anymore... as I said, it was me not reading right. I was tired, and under stress... but I came back to it later on and I was able to understand it. I can see why it is your most celebrated post, its good. Thanks.

Does anyone know if this problem has been resolved with the new release of Linux Mint 7 (Gloria)? Thanks.
