Unable to browse shared files
 

Hi, I am using SuSE10.2 i am getting all the available work groups but i am unable to detect the machines which are offering shared files.To access any shared windows machine now i am entering IP address in konqueror and i am checking. But it is tedious to check 400 windows machine. So, please help in recognizing shared windows machines......

I may not be of much help saying this, but I remember using a program which would scan all the IP addresses in a given range and list all the files... or may be search a given filename among a range of IP addresses. (I was searching for ShareScan equivalent to do so...) Search around google and you may find it... I am sorry but I don't remember the name myself :(
