Ubuntu Wireless Laptop dropping internet connection periodically.
Hi.
I have an Apache web server set up on a laptop running the most current version of Ubuntu. I have a wireless usb AP connected - with a static IP assigned. About once a week I lose my connectivity on the laptop. I can't connect to it and it cant access the web. There is no firewall running and I know once I reboot everything is fine.
Checking my routing table - the gateway looks fine. ifconfig also shows the assigned ip address looks ok. So now what - where should I look to diagnose the problem?
As a side note "networking restart" does not resolve the problem, I need to reboot.
Is this an IP lease issue? Any help tracking the problem down would be appreciated.!!
Messages.log show's me nothing of interest.
Finally, the AP is running via an NDISwrapper.
