Ubuntu 11.04 LTSP & DHCP3-Server
I swear everything has changed in 11.04.
I remember the last time I setup a basic LTSP server on Ubuntu that it was much... easier? The problem I have is that I used to be able to simply add "eth1" or "eth0" to the /etc/default/dhcp3-server file and everything would be fine as long as the ip settings matched. Now I can't seem to find that file at all. Also, 11.04 doesn't seem to have the /etc/init.d/dhcp3-server restart option. Has everything been renamed and moved since 10.04? |
I used to work with ubuntu 10.04 and then switched to 11.04, BUT switched back because 11.04 rather sucks...
Anyway, I think it is located in /etc/init.d/isc-dhcp-server dhcp3-server is just a dummy package which wraps the real isc-dhcp-server package. Hope thats helps! |
Ah thanks. I still can't find the file to edit for the interface though :s
I think I'll drop back to 10.10 until I figure this out |
