Two ISP/Provider and my network

Hi,

I googled everything out about setting up two isp/provider for my network clients. Currently, only 1 ISP is active on my network with a squid proxy and a masqueraded network and i just have a new one (ISP) which i dont know how to setup.

ive searched for nic bonding and i stumble upon lartc's routing multiple uplinks. The problem is what should I follow (i like lartc though). If I follow lartc, would squid will blindly accept it without knowing which route to take since i have setup following LARTC and should i add another MASQ to my iptables reflecting to the second isp ip address.

Thank you and God bless...

how does the isp IP come into it? As i see it you'd have two options, direct internet connectivity on the squid box, with the IP's there, in which case all traffic leaving either interface will immediately get the right IP by virtue of the interface it left, or you have two natting routers upstream anyway, so you'd not ever care about public ip's within te squid server at all.

So it means, that i cant get hold of the load balancing feature based on the lartc documentation? With that setup, its either two or only one upstream will the have the most load.

I don't understand what your problem actually is here. can you explain what issues you think you have that stops you just doing chapter 4?
