tutorial on samba + ldap + kerberos
Hi everyone..
well its after a long time that I'm writing here...I have to implement samba + ldap and kerberos authentication on my linux server...
I have some knowledge of samba, but I just read a little about ldap today and i dont know anything about kerberos authentication...LDAP seems complicated to me and I guess that kerberos too would be tough to get hold of as compared to setup and configuration of other services in linux...
I would want u guys to treat my question as urgent as I would be sleeping after some time and will leave for work early morning tommorow, so I wont be able to check this thread until tommorow night, which will be quite a long time for me to wait...so i hope that I get at least couple of good replies..I feel like a newbie when it comes to ldap and kerberos...so pls do keep that in mind while suggesting tutorials)
BTW, FYI, i have already been to openldap.org and read the documentation..however, it seems to get heavier after the first few chapters...so to start with, I need an easy to understand tutorial on ldap and kerberos along with samba....I wont mind even if it the tutorials are not too deep in content...pls suggest accordingly..
Thanks and Regards,
--amit

One place to look...
One place to go would be the link I am showing below... It is quite a bit of reading, but depending on how familiar you are with most of the subjects, you may be able to skim some.
Samba By Example
