Tungsten E Palm pilot and internet

Does anyone have a clue as to how to setup my linux box to asign an IP to my Palm pilot through the usb cable? On the Palm itself I have configured it to connect to unix using a password and to get an IP automatically. I want to be able to browse the web with my palm. Any ideas?

Hmm... I've never tried it and since I have DSL I don't think I could do it anyway, but if you have a dialup connection I believe you can set it up by going to the "prefs" menu on the Tungsten E and filling in a bunch of blanks under "Network." I just looked at it and it seems that would be the way to do it.
