tulip and netcard


Hi all im using sclack 8.1 Ive included line /sbin/modprobe tulip in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules

also used ifconfig to set eth0 with ip address but when i reboot and check ifconfig eth0 isnt present and i have to manually configure again. Tulip loads but i dont have eth0 set up.

I cant for the life of me remember how to set this, anybody now????

netconfig

Or, you can just edit:

/etc/rc.d/rc.inet1

by hand, add in your IP, netmask, yadya.
