Trying to get slackware working on hp proliant dl320/hp n7760 nic?

Hi there.

I'm trying to install slackware 10.1 onto a hp proliant dl320 with two onboard n7760 gigabit ethernet cards and slackware doesnt recognise the n7760 card.

anyone got any ideas please? dont want to switch to redhat (I'm _told_ that'll work by hp) so...?

Do you know what chipset the n7760's use? I'm having a bit of a fit trying to find it.

god only knows.

hp web site is not amazingly helpful and i havent got any documentation apart from the website. i wasnt
involved in choosing this server, just had it dumped on me by idiot associates who have no idea
how to "involve technical staff when buying technical things".....
