Truncated IP??? What?

Anybody who can explain what is happening with my IP packets (or TCP)? Here is some code from tcpdump:

Code:
11:16:51.345418 IP truncated-ip - 930 bytes missing! 216.239.59.104.http > 192.168.0.101.32966: . 1:1431(1430) ack 330 win 31460
This happens as I try to browse www.google.fi, but nothing shows up and tcpdump just gives info about some missing bytes.

Is there anyone who can explain this? Thanks!

All the other references to this I found on Google indicate that is a problem with PPP or PPPoE. Possibly the MTU of the site sending you data is too large and it's being truncated by your hardware.

Tried to look for an explanation using Google, but I have not yet found what I am looking for. Well, I thought of the MTU myself, so I have been trying to lower it, but no difference. The HW I am using is a laptop with a DWL-650+ (wireless PCMCIA card) and a D-Link AP (think it is something-614+) connected to the Internet. No browsing works at all; I cannot even access the AP's user interface (an HTML page). Everthing results in the above error/problem. BTW, ping is working to anywhere.

No, not the MTU on your side, the MTU on the sending side (i.e. the equipment sending the packet to you).

Oh wait, no web browsing works--I thought it was just that one site in particular?

No web-browsing works, but as I said I can ping any machine on the Internet.

Problem solved. My AP was configured to fragment the datagrams to a too small length.
