Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

I'm new to this website and to Ubuntu. I recently installed Ubuntu on my computer yesterday and am already having problems... First off, I installed ndiswrapper to get the driver installed for my Linksys WUSB11 v.2.6 wireless adapter. I downloaded the package for my driver from the linksys website. Then, tried installing the file AUTORUN.INF that came with the linksys download in ndiswrapper using Wireless Network Drivers found in System/Administration. It came up as an error and when I tried to boot the program back up its just a blank grey screen that I have to force close every time I open it. I would really like to get this working. Please help!
Also, (a little off topic) randomly my computer will crash with a terminal like screen with an error then it quickly flashes to a screen with a few white lines then back to the terminal over and over really quickly. I have to turn off my computer to get it working properly again.... Any advice?
