Question trouble by open network interface

Hi all,

i try to get the library tcpdump running on linux kubuntu.

i can compile and build the program well but by execution i can not ececute it

is there something to configure to get access in the network interface?

P.S.: i can check the traffic when i use a graphical software for tracing the network traffic.

thanks for each suggestion
