Is there a way to remove netscape 4.2 that comes with RH 7.1 and install netscape 6.2?

You can remove Netscape 4.x but you may break some dependancies. Which ones you ask, not sure. :rolleyes:

You can download the Netscape 6.2 installer script and install 6.2 alongside you 4.x with no probs.

I saw the hardlink going to netscape. So I guess there is no way as of yet to remove netscape. I will keep searching. Thanks though for the input.:study:
