Why did you decide to shut down the thread? It was no harm if people want to contribute it.

You, as a moderator, could shut down any thread. I am a bit puzzled by your decision to shut it down.

This is the point I want to tell you all.

In this scenario, the host address is not fixed. The network is address is always 169.254.

You are welcome to correct me if I am wrong.

In your scenario you are treating it as if I did you some wrong. However, if you go to the General forum, you will discover that your original thread is still active. the Rules state that you should not post the same question more than once.

For future refence, btw, this sort of thing should always be done off-line.
