TinyDNS Data - Cname's vs A records

Been trying to clean up my tinydns data file and can't seem to nail down a good answer for this. On our primary domain we have 1 primary dns server, 1 mail and 1 www. We use the mail and www servers as NS2 and NS3 as well. (NS1 is on a different Class C, mail and www are co-located on another). We also host several other domains on the same servers.

Originally my data file included an SOA, SPF, MX, A and PTR records for each server under each FQDN. After reading DJB's docs I began to believe that it wasn't a good idea to have multiple A records for the same IP under different FQDN's so I switched to Cname records for the other domains back to the actual server. I also wanted to minimize the changes needed as we are about to move mail and www to a new Class C.

It seems to be working well but I have had a couple complaints about possible issues with the Cname lookups, including people using Blackberry's and of course testing sites like network-tools.com and dnssy.com. Should I put the actual A records back for every domain even though they are all the same physical server on the same IP's?
