Time/TOD limits based on ip

I have DHPC running with assigned IP addresses for all my devices. What I want to do is limit the time, either by time of day (ex. 3pm - 6pm), amount of time (say 2 hours) or both (3pm - 9pm not to exceed 2 hours). My situtaion is I have an XBox 360 connected and my son if not monitored spends from the moment he gets home from school until bed on it and all day every day on weekends. I want to limit IP 192.168.1.x to only connect between 3pm and 7pm and would like to limit that to two hours max. I have seen ifconfig return eth1:1 on certain machines but do not recall how to do it and would love to put that device on something like that that maybe a cron job can turn up and down at certain times but I think there might be a better solution and even if not I don't know how to set up the eth1:1 parameters and assign an IP to the XBox based on that.

I hope I have given enough description to get an answer. I know it is probably very simple but it escapes me.

Thank you in advance.

You mean you have IP addresses assigned to specific MAC addresses? Your router may have the capability to limit connections by time of day on that basis.

yes

yes each device has its MAC address assigned an IP. Example, all my laptops are in the 10.10.10.2x range, all videogames are in the 10.10.10.3x, IP phones in 10.10.10.1xx and so forth. I want to limit the 10.10.10.3x range. I do not have a router hooked up but am running through a hub.
