Time-based Automatic Bandwidth Limiting
I'm looking around for a program that I can use to limit the bandwidth my Linux computer can use based on the time of day, and the actual day (example: limited to 15kb/s download, 6kb/s upload between 1430 and 2330 each weekday, unlimited at other times on a weekday. Limited to 15kb/s download, 6kb/s upload between 0800 and 2330 on a weekend, unlimited at other times on a weekend).
Alas, thusfar I haven't had any luck. I'd appreciate it if someone could give me some advice, either regarding a program which is able to do this, or some function of Linux I'm not aware of that can perform the task.
Just a heads-up: I'm pretty much a complete newbie, and I'm running SuSe 9.2.
Cheers in advance.
