Time allowed to bring up network?
I have an ethernet connection built into my laptop but use a wireless device to connect to the network.
Whenever I boot (into Fedora 2) it sits there for (seems like) ages trying to bring up the not connected ethernet.
Is there a way to reduce the time the system will keep attempting to connect?
How about disable ehternet card and enable when you require it.
Yes, that would work - in fact it is what I have done.
I just thought there would be a more elegant solution?
