tg3 device eth0 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization!!!


Linux Broadcom NIC card Drivers does not work on some systems...

We got same configuration systems but broadcom tigon3 ethernet doesnt work on few ssytems. and works well on few systems...


Error:- tg3 device eth0 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization!!!

How to sort the problem?? any help??

tg3-3.81c-1.i386.rpm

this is not it is working on few systems and not on few...
You must have installed Different Linux Distributions on the setups....
This is a prob related to Linux Kernel version...

Let us know do you have same distro and kernel for working and non working system

tg3 device eth0 does not seem to be present

Hi

I see same error:
Linux: 2.6.18-8
Broadcomm NetXtreme BCM5764M -
tg3 driver.

Any suggestions how to get the ethernet up ?
