testing iptables performance testing
Hi guys,
we have firewall which is based on LINUX itself. I want to test the performance of firewall.
Regarding the functionality i used nmap,hping2 and ftester.
But for performance...
Is there any standard procedure to test the performance of a firewall or is there any tool to test the firewall performance.
What are the metrics that should be noted down.
FYI, i have given the rules that are already there on our gateway.
