telnet to port 80

Hi
I want to test web server via telnet.
I connect to web server with command telnet x.x.x.x 80, when run "GET / HTTP/1.0" in telnet prompt will not get any respose from web server.
May any one guide me to run correct command for getting response from web server?

Are you pressing <Enter> one more time after the GET command?
