Unhappy telnet through ssh


hai,

I am using RedHat Linux 9 os

Hai,
I created user as below (connected by windows client) But in /home the user as loged praveen is not appearing & from different user I am unable to connect or user even unable to login as user in my linux system.

pl tell me the solN.

I'm not really sure what you are asking. Are you just wanting to create a home directory for the user "praveen"? Try:
mkdir /home/praveen
chown praveen /home/praveen

Then make sure the 6th field of praveen's entry in /etc/password is:
/home/praveen
