thank you hazza96.. the reason im trying this is because im behind a firewall at work and i want to telnet out to my box... but the only open ports are 25,80,110.. if i am going about this the wrong way someone please correct me.. but the idea is to telnet out on 80... any better ideas anyone?
_peace
where would i find the file that sets open and closed ports? or would that be in the kernel configs? i think this is what i need... so i can enable port 80 to accept telnet connections... (??)
