Linux ending my TCP connections?

Hello,

I am frequently loosing my TCP connections and am wondering if it is possible that my linux router is disconnecting them?

What settings should I look at to see this?

It is dd-wrt. The kernel is routing, as for the NAT. I not sure who is doing this.

I am using PPPoE on the router to connect out to the net.

Thanks,

David

well in what way are they being lost? best way to see what's going on is to do a traffic capture on tcpdump or wireshark or something, and look for RST packets and such like. you may well be able to see timeout periods expiring by the timestamps in the captures or such like.

Hey,

Ya, I didn`t think of running TCP Dump. I'll try that and post back the results.
