taking mail remotely

Is there a way to get my mail off my ISP SunOS boxes and down to my RH7 box for local opening using pine?

And then use something like razor to curb my spam.

Thanks in advance

Do you have any control over the smtp server involved ? Or rather the local mailer on the sun boxes?

When you say control what do you mean?

I have a username and password for the account in question. I want to know if I can set up pine or just a script to get my mail from their box to mine and then use razor to rifle through for spam and then view whatever mail is left over on my local machine.

Thanks in advance

What i was referring to was the ability to setup a procmail thingy to do the things you want on the mail servers.

Otherwise I do not know what to do for your problem. I would check freshmeat.net and see if there are any programs out there to help you.

OK, I got fetch mail to get the mail from my ISP to my box. And I downloaded and compiled razor and razor-sdk. Now, I can't razor to scan the mail because I don't know where the messages are stored.

Thanks in advance
