Systemimager - Loading up NIC at boot up.

Howdy:

I have three questions. The first two are about installing diskless sarge (kernel 2.6.8) cluster using systemimager.

1) The MB is an Intel SE7221BA with two ethernet (100 and Giga) interfaces. What driver should I use for the on-bard Gigabit card? The Sarge installer didn't seem to pick it up. I was thinking of PXEing the installation, but no cigar because the driver was not found.

2) There is a third card (external) installed on the node, it's a r8169. How do I incorporate it into my boot disk? Again it runs on 2.6.8 kernel.

3) Right now we are using DCC (Debian Cluster Components -- for Sarge) as our cluster installation wrapper. If I need to do this in a more generic way, what are the minimal components I need?

So far I have id'd the following

1) dnsmasq
2) dhcp
3) shorewall
4) torque
5) systemimager
6) mpi

are there anything else?

Thanks in advance,

BW.
